process

How we work

Most design studios show you a four-step process diagram. Discover, Ideate, Prototype, Deliver. You've seen it. Everyone's seen it. It tells you nothing about how that studio actually thinks. We do all of that.
Here's what we do that others don't.
  • We start with the uncomfortable question.
Before sketching anything, we ask the thing your team might be avoiding: Does this product need to exist in this form? Is the real problem the one you briefed, or is it hiding behind it?

Most studios take the brief and run. We take the brief and challenge it. That first conversation usually changes the direction of the entire project.

  • We stay until it's real.
We don't hand over a pretty rendering and wish you luck.
We work through engineering, manufacturing, materials, packaging, and launch — because a beautiful concept that can't be built is just decoration.

When we're done, you have everything needed to go to market: technical files, production guidance, brand and packaging direction, and the strategic clarity to launch with confidence.

  • We design by removing.
Our process isn't about adding features, options, or variations until something looks complete. It's about stripping away until only the essential remains.

Every detail in a REFRAME product has survived a simple test: Does this earn its place?
If not, it goes. This is harder and slower than adding, and it's why the results feel inevitable

What we do

Industrial Design

We design products with purpose, clarity, and long-term value.
From concept to manufacturing, we refine every detail to ensure your product is intuitive, functional, and aligned with your brand and market.

Branding + Communication

A strong product deserves a strong story.
We help define your positioning, clarify your message, and create visual identities that elevate your brand and support scale.

Strategy + Innovation

We help you challenge assumptions, identify new opportunities, and build future-ready strategies grounded in market insight and user behavior.

Who We Work With

This works best when you:

Already have a product or range, but know it could be stronger. See design as a strategic advantage, not a cost center. Make decisions quickly and respect clarity over consensus. Care about longevity and relevance, not trends. Want a partner with conviction — not a vendor who says yes to everything.

Probably not the right fit if:

You need a studio that says yes to every request. You want 47 concept variations. You think design is what happens after engineering is done. (No hard feelings. We'll still recommend someone good.)
